Arkney is a bespoke third party marketing service for alternative fund managers seeking to expand their footprint to institutional investment professionals.

The clients cover a wide range of alternative strategies such as timberland, insurance related strategies, mezzanine and hedge fund consultancy. Arkney’s reach covers professional investors specifically in the Benelux, Japan, the Nordic Region, Singapore and the UK.

It is operated chiefly by Sara Chance (nee Hedberg), who started her career at Lehman Brothers (London and New York). She worked in M&A, fixed income, private equity and equity prime brokerage. From there on she worked in the fund of hedge fund industry, most recently with Financial Risk Management. Arkney was founded in 2008.
